Congratulations on your pregnancy,
This may sound very weird but I found it was the easiest way to explain it to my husband so hear goes.
At first its like bubbles or butterflys in your stomach, then it turns to a small sweeping movement nt a sharp hit but like a swosh. It feels like when you move your tounge on the inside of your cheek. Put your hand on your cheek and move your tounge against your cheek very softly, so you can feel it inside but not with your hand. Then just move it a little harder and so its harder everytime.
It sounds weird but its very similer to kicking. If you are lying on your back its much easier to feel. Place both hands on your belly bump and you will know as it gives you a really warm feeling in your heart thats when your sure thats the baby kicking. It should be very soon so your proberly right in feeling it now. Good luck and I hope this is more then just a laugh and helps. Best wishes.

It's different for everyone but there are similarities. For me, with all three pregnancies (I'm 17 weeks now) it started out feeling like a water balloon sloshing around, then more like butterflies in the lower abdomen. Later, when you're further along you will feel kicking and jabs that are unmistakable. If this is your first, don't feel anxious that you're unsure if it is the baby or something else, but more than likely those little "flutterings" are your baby moving around. Enjoy!!

it is so hard to tell since there are a million other things going on around it. it feels like a little flutter i guess could best explain it. be patient, after a while you will wish it didn't kick so much :) believe me, there will be nights you won't get to sleep at all because of late night kicking or the little foot in the rib cage. it is very rewarding in the end, i can promise you that.

I'm having my first pregnancy and I was unsure on how the baby would feel when kicking/moving around my tummy. Now that I have had the feelings I would describe it as a muscle spasm. Have you ever had one in your leg?? That is the way it feels in my tummy!! It is an awesome feeling - I feel for my husband who cannot experience this!!

AT first it feels like there is a little butterfly in your stomach. It is definatly different than gas.
Also you might feel your little one have hickups
Before you know it, the baby will be doing summer saults and handstands and things that will amaze you. You might even see the outline of a little foot or hand.

I Have had two children. After the baby gets bigger you will be able to feel the pressure of the baby moving around. Sometimes even hurts. Will also be able to see you stomach moveing and be able to see the baby moving. Try laying down. My babies were more active ater I layed down. No one but you will be able to feel it the most though. What a wonderfull experience

It feels like a gentle tapping at first. Some say "flutters" or "bubbles" but for me, digestive movements are flutters and bubbles... the fetal movements were like taps. You're at the right time to start feeling it - by next week you will probably know for sure!

well kinda like flutters until they get bigger then it starts to hurt sometimes THEY can kick pretty hard lol. it feels weird at first i know i did not know if it was my baby but you kinda can know bc if it is on the side just kinda do put your hand to the bumb if there is one and push on it a little bit and if it is kinda hard then it is your baby. But since you are not that far along it will probably feel like flutters that is what it felt like to me at first.

Do you now what it feels like when you drive in your car and you drive over a bump and it feels like you stomach is turing around? That is what it will feel like at first. But then when you get use to it it will just feel like your baby is kicking and hitting with it's fists. You will defenitly know when it is your baby you feel. Good luck and congrats.

Very very widespread. Like yet another poster suggested, the strikes would desire to start to get greater regular and at 28-30 weeks you will desire to be feeling the newborn pass usually. suitable now he's only no longer super sufficient to make lots of an impact each and every of the time. stable success!
