I have seen documentation of the north star and axial wobble points but no connection between them and the current problem of global warming.

No, the precession of the Earth's axis has nothing to do with global warming. Not sure what you mean by "wobble", but the nutation and pole travel are too small to be significant, and the nutation in any case is a repeating 19-year motion.

North star is at the extension of earth's axis (an imaginary line).
So the precession of earth's axis, that is , wobbling, is related to the position shift of North star, an apparent position shift from the observer's position on the earth.
Global Warming is not related to earth's axial wobbling, I think.
But it is a statement, not a proof.
