how to access files on my home network?

I have already shared the files, but i can't seem to find them anywhere? could someone please give intructions to find the shared folders? thank you.

in the addres bar for ex: type \\pc name\file path\ filename.ext. this will work

if this does not work then you have not yet given proper permissions in the security tab next to folder sharing tab in the properties of the folder.

please check and correct it
