No. I work at Circuit City, and despite being a large retail store, we're only getting 25 PS3's. We will be getting shipments of only 25 PS3's once every month for the next 3-4 months.
There is a huge shortage for the initial batch of PS3's. Because of this, it's not possible to sell them online, as stores can carry them personally. Your only option will be ebay, and that's only if you're willing to pay many times the retail price.
And personally, I believe that most initial batches of video game hardware almost always come out full of bugs. Since many video game manufacturers only have 90 day warranties on their hardware, your best bet is to wait a few months until Sony releases a more stabe version of the PS3. Plus, Sony is notorious for making Playstations that are of substandard quality compared to other hardware manufactuers (the first PS had FMV problems, the second had disc-loading tray problems).
Waiting a few months ensures that you will get a more functional system at a reduced price (they always drop the price after a few more months when more are available). Being the first on your block to get one has more drawbacks than positives.

good luck -- the ones for sale will all be snagged and put on ebay if all the store employees don't snag them first.
