Q1) 3: 1

Q2) 5 cm

Q3) 1/3 m (33.33 cm)

it's really simple. all you have to do is identify the information you need (the height, specifically) and then use it.

the height of the grown t-rex is 6 meters, the height of the infant is the same as the human's height (2 meters). Dividing them gives you the ratio of 3 : 1
For the rest, you just divide by 3 to find the size for the baby t rex

Listen to Indigo and Steven B...and not only go to class, but also ask questions and practice, practice, practice. Steven B hints at it: identify your knowns, identify your unknowns, write the equation (s), then solve. Generally you will know all but one number. Or you will be able to derive all but one number, before using your equation. The equation you want to use, is almost always the one you had in the lesson for the day, or one prior to that. It won't be something completely unknown. Finally, plug in the knowns, solve the equation and you're done. Easy? See Steve B's answer for your problem, compare the problem solving method I outlined above, note how they mirror one another. Then relax, stay calm, take it one step at a time, and you'll be fine. Good luck.
