i was wondering if u can go to a visit on ur period? cause i have an visit coming up but ill be on my period... grr

yes it is fine as long as u r not a heavy bleeder.
if u bleed heavily then i suggest u reschedule ur appointment
but doctors really dont mind because they have seen it all.
just remember there are women who come into the er with abnormally heavy bleeding for a problem they are having and the doctors have to give them an exam to rule out any problems and any complications. so i really believe that u will be fine.

Yep! sure can. I needed to have my IUD removed and they recommend that you are on your cycle, usually a couple days after you have started, as it allows the muscles to be a little more pliable and less resistant. In fact I have to go back a day after i started to get my new one. Good luck... Just use a tampon until is time for the exam, they have seen it all!

I always schedule my annuals when I am not having my period so that she can get the required PAP smear. They cannot get the Pap if you're bleeding.

You better reschedule if you're supposed to get a PAP.

nope, it should be at least 24 to 72 hours after your period ends

You can go if you are having problems but for a regular checkup, most women reschedule.

I know you can, but beleive it or not, I have been told they charge more.
