The depths of human depravity shock me way more because I expect people to be kind and caring towards one another. It shocks me how people can be any other way.

The heights of human kindness... Human immorality these days is nothing surprising, but the compassion that can be shown for one another is amazing, especially when one doesn't expect anything in return for their good deeds.

Unfortunately it's human kindness........ I've been hurt and used by many people in my life....It seems that more and more people are living their lives only to get what they want, and they don't care who or what get hurt in the process.
Several times I have been given to much change from a shop, and I have been given strange looks when I have gone back in to give it back, I've always tried to live my live treating others the way I want to be treated and I thought that most people were the same, good honest people..... But I am finding more and more that people are only in it for themselves and what they can get out of it!!!!!
It makes me really sad to see where the world is heading...
