Nope! But I found a message in a bottle on Lake Erie once! My guess was that it was from an older lady who had lost her husband. It was so sad and romantic at the same time! Just about everyone on the boat was in tears!

No. I live in the middle of Ohio. I have let off balloons with messages on them. A farmer and his family found them in Pennsylvania and wrote me back. The message said I was going to be married to my then girlfriend and we left an address on it. We were 15 and 16. Ah. Young love. And they wrote us and congratulated us. We didn't know what to do when we got that message in the mail, except laugh and pretend we were going to get married. Oops. Sorry to rant like this, but I forgot all about that until now. LOL!

sure I have, i replaced into in Atlantic city NJ, I wrote a letter telling about myself, and waitied till eventually the tide replaced into going out, I positioned the canopy on the bottle and enable it bypass... I watched it waft away, i replaced right into a baby then, i'm 23 now, i'd say it replaced right into a minimum of 10 years in the past.. no replies yet! yet another project i imagine is cool, is writing letters on balloones, you not in any respect understand the position they'll bypass, I have heard thoughts about human beings looking them contained in the sea too. fantastically cool eh?

Well, It was Lake Michigan but i had never seen the sea until I was about 20.

no but I did those stupid balloon things... where you put your address on a balloon and let it go... and wait for an answer... I was like 8 or 9... I really thought I was going to make a friend in China... I'm still waiting...

Yes, when I was nine.
I went to the beach with my grandmother, she had a bottle in her car and let me send it out.
I wrote, "If you find this note please call me at (and gave my number which I don't remember...)my name is mandy and this is my first time..thankyou."
Innocent days...LOL
