i think we all do this..it just seems to be better on tv. what i mean is ...its like your favorite song..you buy the cd and could listen to it at any time..but once it comes on the radio..the dance moves are on..its just more exciting...lol

I do the same thing...I think I forget I have the dvd's or something and the movie is on already, so I just end up watching...with all those annoying commercials...I don't know how much is cut out of the movie, It's a wonderful life...do you have the colorized version also?

i think around 20 minutes or so...
i have experienced this a lot of times....
there are at least 4 to 5 ads no matter what channel it is so a lot of scenes have been cut .....
some times some movie channels show you almost the full picture with very small ads but it is only once & if ur lucky you will come to know how much they have cut !!!!!!
i once was that lucky that only a few scenes were cut.....
the next time the same movie came i could tell what scenes was goin to come next but to my eyes ..... that scene was cut & had got so angry only i know !!!!!!
had made a fool of my self in front of my friends...... but only i know that they had missed some terific scenes......
hope that you get to see the full length movies on T.V.
but still , i think DVD renting / borrowing from a friend is much much better if you like the movie very much.....
you can see the number of times you want to.......

Yes I always do that. I have seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind more times than I would like to count but every time it comes on HBO I watch for some strange reason. I have actually never sat down and watched the entire movie of it's a wonderful that I can remember.

They are probably cutting out parts that seem unimportant to the storyline, no matter how much the public thinks they are invaluable to the movie. It annoys me to watch movies outside of the movie channels because they cut out good parts and put bad voice overs on swear words.

I hate it how they cut movies. I think you need all of it to have the proper feeling.
