when i origanaly went to the dr. to do a routene pap they said i had mild dysplashia they then performed a colposcopy and the results were severe dysplasia can this also have anything to do with the depo shot?

HPV will not likely cause infertility because it is in your cervix which is below where all the "action" of fertilization happens. It is the entrance to the uterus so unless there is a problem above that then you should be ok. But if you need to get a large portion of your cervix removed for cancer or prevention of cancer then you may miscarry because your cervix is somewhat incompetent (there's a larger opening). There are things that doctors can do for this though. As for the Depot shot, I know that things like smoking and birth control certainly don't help decrease the dysplasia and can be linked to worsening of the dysplasia because your immune system isn't able to give it's 100% so to speak.
Many people have HPV and I don't think you need to be too concerned about infertility.

I don't know about infertility, but it can cause cancer if left untreated.
