i studied a bit about bacteriocins but did not understand what they are. i need a detail about bacteriocin and which bacteria produce them and against which species these are active? if possibe send me or direct me towards detail on any web site.

they are chemicals secreted by certain bacteria which kill other bacteria. the wikipedia page has many examples ....gram positive, gram negative, etc...
