Do you have a cat? Usually an allergy to an animal is the most common reason.

I would suggest that there may be animal dander around, could also be excess dust attracting dust mites. Maybe you just have very sensitive friends.

Do they sit on anything in particular when they get itchy, there may be something in the way you clean it - like using too much chemicals, or not cleaning it enough.

Try using a bagless vacuum cleaner that has a hepa filter as they make sure dst mites don't get through the filters and back into all your furniture.

Maybe you have a pollen laden plant outside a window or door that is sometimes left open. Pollen can really effect allergies.

SOUNDS LIKE MITES. I JUST WENT TO LOWE'S YESTERDAY. THERE IS A PRODUCT (I'M NOT JOKING) CALLED "ANTI MITE". IT DOES NOT CONTAIN PESTICIDES. IT IS DISTRIBUTED BY A COMPANY CALLED W.J. Hagerty & Sons. It comes in a spray bottle & Has a Blue & Red label. You spray it on mattresses, carpet upholstery, window fabrics etc... Allow to dry for 2-4 hours. Vacuum it clean thoroughly. Mites and their excrement get encapsulated and are vacuumed away. It also deodorizes. Good Luck.
