Baby, you were at the doctor why didnt you "nip it in the bud" and get checked, or better yet, just asked the professionals their opinions instead of leaving the doctors and coming home to the Internet? That's my question, Im glad I don't have to loose points for asking that one!

The doctor should have done a pregnancy test right there to let you know. Other than that he would have told you to go home and they would call you with the test results.

Blood in urine could mean you have an infection of some kind. The doctor would have to send it to the lab to find out what is is for sure.

Sorry to say but this is not a pregnancy.

Trace blood in the urine is known as hematuria. Usually not a cause for alarm since we secrete trace amounts of blood in urine all the time. However, you may still want to consult a physician as this may also indicate urinary tract infection and/or related issues, ranging from non-serious to very serious (cancer).

Hi. I have recurrent kidney problems and each time I go and have a urine test, they find blood. It could be any sort of urinary infection or a sign you have kidney stones. I would have asked at the time what this meant. You need to go back to your doctor and have him/her explain the results. Doctors are not to be feared, they get paid enough and they are there to help.

Blood in your urine (Haematuria) is not a sign of pregnancy.

It can be caused by a bladder infection, or may be a sign that there's a problem with your kidneys.

The doctor will probably do blood test to determine what's causing it.

doctors always assume that a woman of child bearing age is pregnant unitl proven otherwise, so if they had a urine sample, it should've been tested. you could try calling your doctor to see what the result was (or if they ran a pregnancy test)
