Last Nov. I found out I was pregnant. I went to doctors, tested positive the whole ordeal. I started gaining weight having morning sickness etc etc. I had bought many baby items and still have parenting books and magazines laying around my house.Yesterday was exactly a yr since I found out it was a molar case and I would need surgery. I am having a hard time dealing with it. I need to know if anyone else had these same issues and how did they come to peace with it? Do I need to get rid of these items? And will all my pregnancies end this way? Help! Plz...

A molar pregnacy is when you become pregnant but instead of a fetus it is a clot of cells. Similar to a tumor. You will have symptons just like a normal pregnancy. It is a very rare thing like 1 in 1000 I believe. You will test positive to pregnancy tests. I didnt find out until 5mths into my pregnancy. Believe me it is very hard to comprehend. sry if this explanation doesn't help.

Complete Mole
This occurs when the nucleus of an egg is either lost or inactivated. The sperm then duplicates itself because the egg was lacking genetic information. Usually there is no fetus, no placenta, no fluid and no amniotic membranes.

The uterus is rather filled with the mole that resembles a bunch of grapes. The fluid filled vesicles grow rapidly, which can make the uterus seem larger than it should be for gestational age. Because there is no placenta to receive the blood typically you will see bleeding into the uterine cavity or vaginal bleeding.

Partial Mole
This most frequently occurs when two sperm fertilize the same egg. There may be partial placentas, membranes or even a fetus present in a partial mole. However, there are usually genetic problems with the baby. Rarely, a partial mole will exist with twin pregnancy, however, the other twin rarely survives.

I have had two miscarriages and it was also very difficult for me to deal with. I was very sad but I eventually conceived again, after about a year and I couldn't be happier. I had twins and I just adore them. I think you should maybe put these items away and save them for your future baby. You don't need to get rid of them unless they are making you depressed. I had bought items as well but the items didn't affect me at all. I missed that baby I couldn't put a face to. Things happen for a reason and if it wasn't meant to be then it wasn't meant to be.
All your pregnancies will not likely end this way. You do have to wait a year before you try again. It is not known why women have molar pregnancies. Women who have had molar pregnancies, will most likely conceive again and have a healthy child. I hope you get better and good luck!

I KNOW WHAT A MOLAR pregnancy is. if it's been a year you may want some professional help coming to terms with the loss. I lost a pregnancy at 10 weeks it was a fertility drug pregnancy my 3rd baby. I started buying stuff as soon as the doc said +. It broke my heart after the loss to have baby things. I gave everything away to a neighbor who has just had her 6th baby and was very needy. That was 2003 i'm just now pregnant again i've never made peace with that loss. As for other pregnancies ending the same for you i worried a lot that i would not carry another pregnancy. Chances are good it won't happen again talk to your doctor about your idviduAL chances. You will always worry when you get pregnant again it's very common to have a lot of fear in a pregnancy after a loss. I am still worried things might go wrong i'm 34 weeks!

Hi, I had any such a couple of years in the past. The rationale you must no longer get pregnant is due to the fact it may possibly flip cancerous and kill you, and this is a quick developing melanoma. It too can make the following being pregnant a greater chance of fitting molar additionally. Please wait. I understand its tough, however I did and fell pregnant instantaneously with my daughter who's now almost 5 years historic.
