I have fallen asleep at school before. I fell asleep on guard duty once when I was in the Army. Thank God I was not in combat. And I have been in that zone in / out state while at my present location.

Not at work but I have slept in my van during school while I waited for friends to get out of class...I also fell asleep in class several times. It's a sad commentary on our education system that no one noticed to wake me up.

I fell asleep a few times when I worked the graveyard shift.
It's a shame I don't work graveyards any more, I could use some sleep.

NOT YET! hehe. I am amazed by the answers! Very good Question by the way. I am a student and I have been very close to falling asleep, but I usually stand up and go outside to breath some fresh air and that usually does it for me.

Both actually i was in school one day the teacher got boring and i laid my head on the book and the next thing you know the alarm went off to switch classes and i got up and i realized i had druled everywhere. Than a couple times at work in the lunch break room {at fast food} i was taking my 30 min break and was exhausted and i told a coworker to wake me up and such and such time and i took a nap ........hey why not i was off the clock anyways.... for 30 minutes {i had to clock in when i get there clock out for my 30min break and clock back in after 30 than clock out when i leave}

I have been doing that since at school and now at work when nobody is watching I put my hands underneath my chin and I close my eyes thank goodness I don't snore!
