I am 16 and my bf is 18. i was on b.c for almost 2 years but i have not taken it for the last couple of months, and we had sex on sunday or monday without a condom. he did pull out, but my period was about a week and a half to 2 weeks ago so the dr. said i might be ovulating. i have been with my bf for a while now, and we love eachother very much! : ) i am not trying to get pregnant or ne thing. but if i am i would not have an abortion. and about me not being able to suport it, i think i would i know it would be hard, but i have a job so i could save up until i cant work ne more. and my bf has a really good job were he is the manager and makes good money, and he has a car, and lives only a couple houses down from me. plus my mom is like my best friend and so i know she would help. so what do you think my chances are of getting pregnant???? its to soon to take a test. thank you!

You have a very good chance of getting pregnant. Any time you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant, but especially at the half way point in your cycle. "Pulling out" is the worst kind of birth control there is (just ask any Catholic) - why did you go off your birth control? Were there medical reasons?

I am assuming that you are looking for an answer only to your chances of becoming pregnant, and not a lecture on responsible sexual behavior, so I will keep my mother instincts in check here. Just, from now on, for your sake, always use birth control! (Okay, my mother instincts just couldn't stay completely quiet!)

Take care of yourself.

I'm glad that you have a good realtionship with your mom and that she'll be willing to help if you're pregnant, many girls don't have that option. There is a chance that you may be pregnant, because the withdrawl method is extremely faulty. If it turns out that you're not, consider yourself lucky and always use some form of birth control, otherwise you're just tempting fate. If you are pregant, it will be tough to take care of a baby at your age, no doubt about it, but it can be done. Just make sure you finish school and stay motivated. Things will be a lot easier on you if you dodge this bullet, though, so keep your fingers crossed for a negative pregnancy test. For now just try to relax, if you miss your period, test right away. The sooner you have an answer the better.

If he pulled out, chances are still pretty slim. However, you do need to be more careful! I got pregnant at 18 the same way (had been taking birth control pills and stopped, I was pregnant 2 months later!). He might have pulled out the last time, but eventually he may not be quick enough and you will have a baby. And I am so glad that you love each other, but 16 is just too young to start a family. Please be careful!

Whenever you have sex, there always is chance you could be pregnant. Pull out, condoms, birth control - none of it is 100%. A good friend of mine just had a baby and she got pregnant on birth control. I got pregnant through pull out and spermicides. The only 100% chance is not to do it. Or double up your precautions with condoms and birth control. Trust me, you do not want to be a mother at 16 and I'm sure you and your boyfriend both have a lot more things you'd like to do with your future.

Also, you cannot take a test until after your missed period. Taking one before then is a waste of money. Just wait a good week and see if you miss your period, then take one to be sure.

I am living proof that the pull out method does not work! hahha. I wasn't trying to get pregnant or prevent pregnancy. My best friend also got pregnant using the pull out method her first time ever. You'll have to wait and take a test.

You are 16-too young to have a baby-go back on birth control now!A baby takes so much work and time and money-and at 16 you do not need to be worrying about those things!

chances are pretty good. any time you have unprotected sex. you are at risk for getting pregnant, and a whole SLEW of other things. different people ovulate at different times depending on the length of their cycle. i'd mark it on my calendar if i were you (the date of your last period and the day you had unprotected sex) and if you havent started when you are supposed to (assuming you have a "normal", regular cycle) i'd take a preg test..btw if you ARE pregnant i DO applaud you for not aborting..
