Oh you are so sweet. You just thinking about making it special is fantastic. There are heaps of ways, the obvious dinner, taking out on a romantic picnic, proposing at dawn or dusk watching the sun go down or coming up. Go for it!!!! Any way you do it I am sure will be special

If you live in California, take her to Disneyland. Before the fireworks, when everyone is cleared out of the castle, tell the cast members you want to propose to your girl. They will let you do it. Then it will be you two in front of the world! OR, go to the stitch booth in the Innoventions building and propose there. I have seen that done. It is really cute.

Girls love this:

Treat her to an afternoon spa, while she's there, go to an elegant restaurant and make a reservation there. Make it so that the waiter captain/manager there know you will be proposing that night. Ask the manager if you can have the wine served in a special way that night: have the ring in her glass of wine and you will propose when she finds the ring in her glass. When you two sit down, excuse yourself to the restroom and find the manager and let him know you're there. When you come back, they should serve the wine. When she finds the ring, the lights should dim a little, and you should get down on one knee in front of her and say whatever you need to say.

If she says no, dump her right away because no girl can ever say no to this :)

Ask in a way that she will remember and be proud of for the rest of her life. You really want to impress with this. Try something extremely romantic. Like under the stars off the water.or when she least expects it. My father put it on my mother's birthday cake.Just go for romance, beautiful scenery and to impress.

I just want to say that she will remember this day the rest of her life so make it all about her. I am a chef and my husband proposed in a choc late factory it was wonderful. Think of something fun and diff rent but make it special you don't pop the question every day.

You have lots of options. You can do the whole on one knee thing, you can leave clues for a scavenger hunt, you just need to think about what kind of woman she is, what kind of relationship you have. Do something that's right for the two of you. Maybe she'd just rather you ask her while you too are curled up on the couch. Just think about it, come up with some ideas that are special and personal. Good luck!

well if you like the typical way of proposal go to a nice restaurant and propose. however in line with the holidays my christmas spirit is beginning to well come alive so i think what you should do is (if its snowing much better) go somewhere very chritmasy with lots of lights, decors and music stand under the misletoe and propose. isnt it obvious im a sucker for romance ;P
