Has anyone here in Canada ACTUALLY ever said "a-boot"?? It drives me crazy!!

I grew up in an Ontario border town, and I was constantly harrassed by my American buddies about "a-boot", and the famous "eh?"

But we could spot an American from a distance.

It may sound that way with an east coast accent. I know I pronounce it correctly.
