Ever since the last few months of my pregnancy I have been really tired. After i had my daughter the sleepiness went away until she was about 8 months, then it came back. She is 15 months now and it is still an issue. It doesnt matter what amount of sleep i get, or how early i go to bed i still feel completely drained all day long. I never have the energy to do anything, i have to force myself to clean the house! Can anybody please help me?

Hi,

Pregnancy, childbirth, & bringing up the infant can be physically and emotionally taxing. Your body undergoes a tremendous amount of change during these phases. Tiredness during these times can indicate many things, including hormonal imbalances.

However, the most probable reasons for your tiredness might be poor qualty of sleep and less than adequate nutrition.

You mention sleepiness, but also mention that your tiredness is in spite of sleep. So, there is a high probability that though your quantity of sleep is adequate, your quality of sleep is poor. This is very much probable during this phase, as your baby is prone to wake you up at least a few times during the night. The interesting thing is that you might not be conscious of these micro 'wake-ups'. But it can drastically lower the quality of your sleep, and leave you with chronic fatigue. Try to address this problem as per your family conditions.

You should also ensure that you get enough nutrients in your diet, especially so, if you are breastfeeding your baby. The nutrients to be daily ensured are the B Vitamins, Vitamin C, & minerals like Magnesium. Take plenty of fruits, vegetables, & nuts.

Also, please be aware that chronic tiredness can signal other conditions like a low level of physical activity, depression, and diseases like diabetes, hypothyrodism etc.

Excessive sleepiness is a strong indicator of depression, and post-partum depression can occur in many women for no reason at all. If you don't get enough exercise, that itself can feed your tiredness. I strongly recommend that you walk outside for at least half an hour a day. Walking can also cure you of post-partum depression, if present.

It is essential that you consult a doctor, take the appropriate tests, and follow the doctor's directions fully, if the above lifestyle modifications can't solve your problem fully.

Thanks for posting this problem, thanks for the opportunity.

Get well soon!

Goodyear and NASCAR made a deal a couple of again to furnish such a lot of tire in keeping with race and Goodyear has been ready to give. On a part be aware the groups now not acquire the tires from Goodyear. They honestly rent the tires from NASCAR in the course of the race weekend. After the race they ought to go back all tires, and might be fined and unfastened facets if they do not.

You may have an underactive thyroid. That is called hypothyroidism. I have it, and there is an easy remedy. You get a blood test taken, and depending on your results your doctor may prescribe levothyroxine. That should help with your fatigue.
It also may be due to depression. Thats is one of the many signs including, but not limited to: overwieght, underwieght, anxiety, poor mood, lack of judgement, loss of intrest in things you once enjoyed. If this is the case light therapy could help, or some light anti-depressants may help as well (however, then tend to cause some weight gain)
Good luck with your health :)

are you dieting? low carb diets damage your melatonin levels and in turn leaves you feeling tired all the time. or you can always steal my trick and buy a cappucino machine. drink one in the a.m. and one around 2:30. I couldn't manage without it. i have 3 to chase after, I'm always tired too. but that gives me the jolt that I need to keep up with my world :) also try vitamins, you might be low on something.

After pregnancy, all women would have gained a bit of weight for the health of you and your baby. Maybe (if you have gained as such a bit of extra un-needed weight) you can try too eat less fatty foods or "Mc Donalds"
Maybe it because you don't have enough vitamins or something along those lines. Talk to your doctor.
