How do you feel 9/11 has affected our country? How has it changed our government and secruity?

I want to know what everyone thinks about September 11th, and how it has affected our country, not you individually. How has secruity been changed and how do you feel our government has changed if at all? How have Arabs been viewed since and has that view changed at all?

Well Bush did the right thing....But It should have been done a long time ago. Clinton knew of the threats and did nothing..but ...Yes Security is much tighter...i know..it's my job..and it was soo weak before. It needs to be a lot tighter but the public wants things easy and wants the risk...I hear it all the time...' this is such bs...I am not a terrorist.." hmmm maybe. ..I hear " Profile them ARABS"....Hmmm McVey, Manson, Gangs?....I hear "this is so wrong i cant take my" ......Well you Know what?? you travelers are all morons...You Can't "follow simple rules...the same people that bit.h that you cant speed ...you cant drink and drive...only complain...so it is people like you that are the problem ( not you personally) Get used to it!!! 9/11 only woke us up...kinda because the people of the USA done want the hassle...so sad... guess a but of safety is not allowed here...You would rather die and Kill others..and the war in Iraq....Its the best we can do...We ar The USA and WE DO NOT BREAK!!! Saddam LOST!! In the USA we lost too..why? Because the people her are fools. Alots have been changed. At the airports stiffer gaurds and rules. At government building to get medicade for children you have to have birth certificates now and proof of address and pay stubs and much more proof. There are more metal dectectors and my husbands work which is a goverment building. I think the government still needs to improve on the securtiy but they are doing their best i feel they just need to find away to get a step ahead. Bc the terriost are using children. They need to check everyone bc it is not just arabs its other nationality even americans in our own country that are doing this. I do not feel all arabs are bad or wanting to hurt us. I have one down the street who owns a gas to station and to me he is a nice guy and just wants a good life and wants to make a decent living.

The MAIN change is that we have not been Attacked in the USA SINCE 911! The reason is because of the Security Changes established by the Bush Administration!
The Democrats will be dismantling these Protections, and it is only a matter of time until we are Attacked Again.

9/11 has made America exposed to terrorism. That there is no safe place now if the people are not vigilant. Thus, everybody must be concerned to report any suspicious activities and personalities related to terrorism.

Intially it brought us closer together...Then we got such a fervor when invaded Iraq trying to tie them to the attacks. That harmed our country and harmed our image...We are know getting are wits back about us.
