Modern technology... everyone has seen the footage of the planes flying into the buildings. I think it would be too traumatic to see the same towers built in their place. Every time you would look at them, that awful video footage would go through your mind. How depressing and traumatic for people -- especially those who were actually in NYC that tragic day.

Only Jews want to keep the places of their destruction as they were. Christians have different ideas. Because excuse me but I do think that the attack on the towers was a genocide and as everybody perished by the fire, it was too an Holocaust.

Well, there were two buildings and were noted as the Tallest buildings in the US-- so I believe they do not want to paint a red bulls eye on the new building and therefore are looking at a more subdued architecture.

I think the goal of rebuilding was to make something even more prominent and bigger. Also, having an identical building would probably just be too hard for people to see daily. It's just too fresh in everyone's minds and the pain would be too great.

i wouldn't think that was a good idea to many people died there i wouldn't want another one built if it was one of my family members who died its sacred ground now and i think a memorial would be best but i see they want to put some kind of freedom tower there i still think they should just put a peaceful waterfall with gardens around it and a memorial with all the names of the victims
