i dont think we should be harvesting chicken with the intent to eat them. they have emontions too and we wouldnt want to be so cruel. so i want to see how many people also care about chickens?

OK, so this one time we were killing chickens, and we cut the head off with a axe and it seriously ran around my yard for at least 20 mins just spraying blood everywhere, it was quite possibly the funnest thing I've ever seen, and for that reason alone, we should kill as many chickens as possible. PETA is doing a lot to get these farmers to raise their animals humanely. More cows are put out quickly and with no pain. I'm not sure about chickens, but I would hope the same for them.
I am type O+ blood type and require considerable amounts of protein and iron which is extremely difficult to get as a Vegan. My place on the food chain is OK in my book. Nature is rarely kind.

I suppose if you killed them in a humane way, maybe it would be OK. Lions kill wildebeest and snakes eat mice so at least it would fit with Nature's pattern. But in fact chickens are treated cruelly. Maybe KFC is transfat-free, but they are still cruel. Kentucky Trans-fat Free Cruelty. Turkeys are treated cruelly, too. So if you feel these creatures have emotions, don't eat either for Thanksgiving.

Have you actually been around chickens? They are the dumbest animals in the world..well besides cows..and i think they are yummy too! Yea..stop eating chickens, and beef and fish, maybe it will drive the prices down for the rest of us.

What else would we use them for? Do we release them into the wild? What then? Chickens will become extinct, like the dodo. Easy prey for wolves and carnivores and what not. It's the way of the world, accept it.

why do you think so many people are vegetarians?
not me though i do eat chicken, turkey, and cheese. don't eat beef or pork, cuz i don't like the nastyness of it and i can't eat eggs cuz im alergic.
im probably not the best person for this question huh?
oh yeah, i may be. chickens are evil! ever been chased by one? its terrifying! no wonder i love poultry and not beef or pork!
