Well, I see it as kids being kids. Most of the questions are by kids fantasizing about what would it be like.
The ones that get me are the answers.
For instance earlier this month there was a question, "I just caught my 13yr old having sex, what should I do".
OK, so a Mom did not write that note.... how many actual moms do you thing run to the computer and ask yahoo what to do when they find their kid having sex in the living room? Most likely it was a 13yr old trying to gauge what would happen if someone caught him/her having sex.
So the answers, "Make sure they are using birth control". "Make sure to visit the OB/Gyn". "Make sure the other partner's parents know" "Make sure they love each other"
Not one of them said, "After you kill the bastard who did this to your baby, grab as much money as you can and head to Peru"
So if your 13yr old friend, is trying to gauge what kind of reaction he could possibly expect if he actually gets caught having sex (which for a guy at that age is a bigger deterrent then getting a girl pregnant) and the outrage he can expect is "Make sure they love each other" or "Kill the bastard and head for Peru", which do you think is the better deterrent. (And quite frankly, I am guessing in an actual circumstance the killing is a lot more likely than the loving part)

You are showing wisdom beyond your young years to want to wait until you're older for sex. It also appears that you are not ready, even if you wanted it. Girls who have had sex at this age (and younger) have discovered, most painfully, that it has some rather dire consequences for them (i.e. pregnancy, STDs, HIV, bad reps, loss of trust), and some boys discover that doing it with those girls also has dire consequences (i.e. being made to pay child support, being arrested for Stat Rape, a felony in most states, bad reps, loss of trust, STDs, HIV).
Stay the course you are currently on, and when the time is absolutely right, you will not only be ready for it, but will enjoy it more fulfilling and much more satisfying than if you do it now. It will be hard, true. After all, puberty is a real pain on kids. Continued success!!

I am also a 13 year old girl and i agree with you! I mean some of the kids in my school are just thinking about boys, girls, dating you know the stuff! It just makes me mad because right now we should be learning how to become a better person in the future Not LEARNING HOW TO MAKE OUT AND STUFF, there plenty of time for that when we are older......... I like you girl and i haven't even meet you before...

Thank god, a 13 year old with some brains!! Mind you, I was exactly the same at 13, it wasn't until I was about 18 or 19 that I really run amok. I commend you greatly, keep that good head on your shoulders and you will go far in life! Best wishes to you my dear!

Yes, I really do agree with you. Good girl!! Be good and do good, Too much **** is happening and there is almost no innocence in the world. Thank god you are good about your virginity. It makes me feel very happy to hear that you take responsibility for your virginity. And your right, at your age it should be the last thing you think about. I mean having sex is not only a grown up responsibility, but it adds pressure to a young relationship. If you feel the need to experience an orgasm I would recommend using a vibrator. I mean if it came to my daughters I would also recommend it. I mean you don't have to worry about pregnancy or even worse an STD. Stay the way you think Please. It will stop you from a lot of heart ache and pain. If you can wait until you are married or at least in a very committed relationship.

I completely agree with you... completely - I'm 16... dont give in to whats going on around you ... what really frustrates me is when girls this age do this and then decide they should have an abortion, and then have sex again, and abortion just becomes an excuse....o its ok because i had an abortion, also i think human nature is to be curious about sex and they just want it after they have sex once they're like completely pulled into it

I am 14 1/2 and it seems like you have a pretty good head on your shoulders I am glad to hear you do not wish to have sex yet but however you need to stop your little down greading those who have because way back in the day they was married at 11 and had kids at 12 so just zip your lips sweet heart.

As a mother of four, I COMPLETELY agree with you. Some of the people on here may just be asking these questions for attention. And you are making the right decision by saving yourself. Young teenagers are too impulsive, and will later regret these decisions.

i wish i could get my belly button pierced and im 17!!! its good that your parents let you im assuming, cuz i bet if my dad let me make my own choices i wouldntve left to be on my own so early or started my own family either. good for you your one mature teen! some girls your age are more physically or emotionally developed and i do think a few a very SMALL few are mature enough. but even some adults arent ready. i think its good that you want to wait.
