im sure its been asked time and time again but ok i have a 30gb video ipod and im getting my little sister a nano tomorrow can i use my itunes library with her nano? would i just have to plug in the nano and viola? or what do i need to do to go about using they both and if i can will it mess with my ipod in any way cause i dont want mine to get inturrupted in anyway or messed up or anything this is my second one so im a little iffy lol thanks much in advance....?

yeah, you can. but go to settings and choose to update your ipod manually, so you put the songs on it. i think i had a bad experiance having two 30 gb ipods hooked to the same computer, so maybe one at a time. but, yeah, you can put any of the music from your itunes on her ipod.
edit: what the guy said above is the same as managing your songs manually, so you have to drag new ones to the ipod, it wont automatically update as you ad to itunes.

The easiest way to make sure that the Ipods don't get messed up is to make sure that both the Ipods don't have auto update songs on in the settings. I have 2 Ipod nanos and I turned auto update off in the settings and have not had any problems sharing a computer or Itunes with them.

no you can use it for bothe but before putting songs on your sisters ipod make sure u put it on lock on itunes so if she ever wanted to get songs from a friend or anything her songs wouldnt delete
