Castrated rapist tied to 75 new sex crimes. (1998, November 28). The New York Times [Electronic Version] retrieved November 16, 2006 from http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?sec=health&res=9504EFD81339F93BA15752C1A96E958260&n=Top%2fReference%2fTimes%20Topics%2fSubjects%2fS%2fSex%20Crimes

Because no author is listed for this article, the citation begins with the title and would be alphabetized under the first significant word. If an author had been listed, the year and date in parentheses would be listed after the author’s name, as in other periodical citations.

Author's names are listed in the order they appear in the article. Not alphabetical.

last names are first, first initial, secons initial (Eg. McDowall, M. K.)

Next include the date, enclosed in parentheses, followed by a period (2006).

List the name of the article, capitalizing the first word only (Eg. Tomorrow is another day) followed by a period

Next list the Journal in which it came from italicized, then the volume number. followed by unitalicized page numbers.
