Go to a beauty supply store (here in Michigan, we have Sally's Beauty Supply), and buy a bottle of acetone. It should be fairly cheap. If you cannot find simple acetone, go to any store, and by acetone based nail polish remover (if it doesn't have acetone, it won't do anything). Pour some into a bowl, and soak your nails in it, taking your fingers out and peeling, scraping, or buffing layers off before continuing to soak. It can be an arduous process, but it's really the only way to remove acrylic tips (aside from simply pulling them off or waiting for them to naturally fall off). Cheers.

you can buy acrylic nail remover at most Wal-Marts or beauty supply stores. Its all basically super concentrated nail polish remover (acetone and fragrance). It makes the acrylic soft and easier to pick off, but even if done by a profesional, there will be minor damage to your real nails

you can just go to your nail person and ask them to take them off, they are professionals and they usually know the best way to get them off with the least pain
