Which state is a "nicer" place to live. I am originally from Wisconsin, I have lived in Arizona and now am trying to decide where I should transfer with my job. I need some opinions. Wisconsin-Cold as hell. Arizona-Hot as hell. What do you think?

Well your Spanish would certainly be more useful in Arizona but the Dairy Country of Wisconsin is beautiful.
And yea, the winters can be rough but that's what Fireplaces and a nice cozy blanket are for. Yea, I know, I didn't answer your question, sorry.

Arizona

Wisconsin is a pretty decent state, but Arizona lacks humidity and the constant warm weather can't be bad for your health. You could always escape to Wisconsin in the summer if you have any family there, thus avoiding the worst of an Arizona summer. AZ does have a better overall party atmosphere (though that's a huge generalization, since places like Madison are just as great if not better).

Oh Arizona in a heartbeat!!!! You can always "escape" South to cabos to bask on a beach - pretty cheap air fare because you're so close-- or California here you come-- just a hop and a skip to go surfin. and dont forget, you can have a swimming pool to keep cool but ----Wisconsin---CHEESE? Cold, frostbite, ----you will age much better in warmer than colder weather--- and where can you escape to in Wisconsin??? an igloo?? go for warm...........oh, I'm soooooooo jealous!!!

Sorry, but I dont agree with the others about the four seasons- most of the north ( and I live in PA) has been experiencing more rain, less fall weather and no Spring time---- go for the heat...

Um I've lived in Wisconsin all 21 yrs of my life ( kinda), I LOVE IT HERE, yeah it gets cold, but it gets Damn hot in AZ. You have four beautiful seasons in WIS. and Our summer are warm if that's what your looking for, plus with global warming the winters are getting warmer and shorter so it's not so bad ( i mean the global warming thing is bad but) It's your choice but i would say WIS, Ive lived in Florida for a few months out of the year and I prefer seasons over just hot all the time!

Arizona. Fresh air, but warm. Wisconsin is too cold. People are nicer out west.

Wisconsin isn't cold in spring, summer, and fall. Canadians call Wisconsinites wimps.

I've lived in Maryland, Texas, and Alaska. CUrrently living in Texas. Pick Wisconsin. If you pick Arizona, you will miss having four seasons...

Better yet, pick Alaska! :-)
