Billboards are signs - telling you something
no one is around - so logically you are alone
the trees and shrubbery are large - overwhelming
A brushy creek = overgrown - again, overwhelming
a fancy word - something you don't understand

Sounds like moving into a new neighborhood has left you feeling alone and overwhelmed by all the changes. The trees, shrubbery, water (the creek) and orange, however, are all very healthy in color, movement and life. Seems like you're headed in the right direction once you befirend someone and get a hold on things.

It is possible that lately you have been talking about your childhood days with some of your old friends. May be your grandmother visited you and talked a lot about how you were and things like that. Memories that were in , deep, might have come out bit by bit.

When we are young what we see and , now , what we see the difference is striking . At such young age everything would look huge! Streets would be very wide . People would be tall and big.

The Brushy creek? Ask your grandma. She may remember. What you are living it is not a fantasy. It is just a recollection of an old embedded , pleasant memory. Enjoy it.

Congratulations! Moving in the new neighborhood is going to bring you good blessings and luck.

I tend to agree with Maddy Waddy in that this is a POSITIVE, CHEERFUL dream.

Here are the interpretations of some symbols:
ORANGE: this is essentially a cheerful uplifting color. Its associated qualities are happiness and independence.
FOREST: 1. Dreaming of forests or a group of trees usually means entering the realms of the feminine. A forest is often a place of testing and initiation. It is always something to do with coming to terms with our emotional self, or understanding the secrets of our own nature or of our spiritual world.
2. The dark or enchanted forest which very often appears as an image in fairy tales is a threshold symbol. It is the soul entering the areas it has never explored before, and is looking at having to work with intuition and with one's own ability to sense and feel what is going on around us.
TREE: A tree with wide branches would suggest a warm loving personality.

The above interpretations are from dream interpreter Pamela Ball.

I think your dreams signifies that you have moved in to a new place, which is exciting.... you have much to explore. In the waking world, you might not be sure of what to look forward to in the new place... you are making new connections, forming new relationships, and also facing the challenge of settling in a new place. Your dream is telling you that this is a safe place, though one of "testing and initiation." Orange is telling you that it's a positive, happy place. Inside, your Self is content with the move and looks forward to life in the place.

The billboard perhaps just signifies NEW PLACE. And it may be showing any underlying concern that you have about being in a NEW PLACE. I feel it means nothing but symbolising your concern, and that you'll eventually get over it.

BTW, elders and wise old types said that moving in to a new place always means a change in luck. The place itself can contribute to make your life better or worse.

Your new neighborhood is, your intuition is telling, a good move. Be happy. :)

The words "Brushy Creek" probably means nothing in your dream. However, projecting big trees could mean you are insecure in a way that in your social life you are shy and you want to be covered and hiden.

Something must have happened lately to you that caused you dream about trees being big. Subconsciously, you want not to be seen and therefore you have this dream vent. Basically, that involves a little guilt conscience in your life. Examine your life and you will know what it is.

Hi,
I love dreams.
Unfortunately, as Carl Jung once said, if the meaning of the dream appears obvious then you are probably wrong. Your dream is not about being overpowered, or alienated in a new neighbourhood as most people here suggested. Symbols in dreams are not used to represent their regular or even opposite meanings. A symbol represents a very convoluted event or trait in you, and it is very hard to know what the symbol represents because your mind is trying very hard NOT to understand so as not to be aware of your shortcomings. So think of your dream as trying to communicate something to you while at the same time trying to trick you so you think its all about moving to a new neighborhood. What does your dream mean? A dream can be a wishfulfillment, or a reawakening of consience, or an indication of your shortcomings, or an indicaition of repressed desire (including sexual desire). A good way to begin is this: Try to think, think hard, how you see yourself, how you feel about yourself at this stage in your life. Do you feel fulfilled? Do you feel you've achieved what you want to achieve? Do you feel chained? Do you feel very content and happy? Do you have a strong ground underneath your feet? Basicly you need to reflect a bit about where you are in life. You also need to reflect on how the recent changes affected you. Then you need to take every symbol in the dream and 'free associatre'. That means to forget what the symbols mean to us in real life. A tree in the dream doesnt have to be a 'tree'. Think what a tree is to you, what does it represent? To give you an example when I think of a stone, it represents, to me, precision, power. Etc.. Find what the symbols mean TO YOU. Forget daily conventions, for that is not the language of dreams. Once you understand the symbols you can relate them to your position in life and begin to see what the dream is trying to tell you. Good luck.

I suggest going to a psychic. There are books on dream interpretation. I instantly know what they mean. I have been getting more into the idea of meditation and surrealistic art.

If its a recurring dream that means there's something unresolved bothering you, dig deep and think of what it is. Maybe you wish your neighborhood was different, have there been things you want to change around your community?

Sounds like a premonition. Probably what the neighborhood will look like in the future.

I believe you are anticipating what your future environment will be. Our subconscious is literally a connection which is revealed through a dream state at times. Flow with it.
