I would rather contribute towards ONE WAY TICKETS FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE ACLU, to Iran, Syria, China, North Korea, etc.

I really like the Christmas season, but the gifts, revelry and good spirit of the season is not simply a Christian season. It has it's roots in pagean Europe before Christ. When people turned to Christianity, they had a hard time getting everyone to turn their backs to the old (fun) way and the two were mixed (much like the rituals you see in Catholic Latin America). Being kind and generous is not a Christain trait, it is a human trait.
It's Ok to believe in your faith, but not all are like you. The ACLU will defend the Constitution and liberties, but has little to do with furthering your faith over that of another.

I'm assuming you mean "Jesus is the Reason for the Season"
And no, not to everyone he isn't. The Jewish faith and Hanuka have been around for centuries before Christ and Christmas. Maybe Jesus is the reason for your Christmas, but he's not the reason for everyone's season.
Stop harassing the ACLU. They protect your liberties and the right to free speech. Don't abuse it.

They don't care what holiday it is. What gave you that idea? And to have them take up religion in their cause....oh my, that would be a disaster. The ACLU thinks the Constitution says anything an American wants to do is fine. They are nuts. Don't ask them to become secular. I get scared just thinking about that.

I don't see why not they frequently defend christianity. Ask Mark Tatton a preacher who was defended by them when he wanted to protest abortion at the Cuyahoga Falls Memorial Day Parade in 1999. That one example shouldn't single handedly convience anyone.... and there are multiple examples if you research them. It feels good to spout off about them and call the ACLU names if your not much for that fancyfied' book learnin'.
