You can use Courier New. That looks a lot like a typewriter. I use that a lot when I do my projects that are about ancient things... yes...l love Courier New! It is my hero!

Go to format/font and change to courier new, thats the closest we get the classic typewriter font. Have a nice day.

Courier is a common one used on typewriters.
You could also try New York.
Pica is a smaller typewriter font.

There are a bunch of typewriter fonts. What you'll probably be looking for is what's called a monospaced font. These fonts allow vertical alignment between characters as they are fixed space. One such, as was pointed out earlier is courier, another is letter gothic.

There were two fonts Courier and Pica. I suspect you are thinking of Courier, that has a more 'dated' look.

There were several including: Arial, Courier, and Times Roman. I liked Arial because it was sans serif, very clean-looking without any extra "squiggles"/serifs.

Sizes were pica (larger) and elite (smaller).

Try using "Courier" or some variation thereof
