Sports items, music is always great so CD's are nice ,a nice gold or silver chain (depending on there taste) Depending on your price range a leather jacket would be great or maybe some tools.

it really depends on his age, but if he is into sports then get him his fav. team hoodie. I pods are always good, depending on how much you want to spend, if he is into cars then get him something for his car like a radar detactor. and make sure you watch for any hints he might drop around this time of year. lots of guys will do this to try and give you hints.
