My Fience and I are going to try to have a baby but we want to get preg. before our wedding. We want to start trying end of january, sometime in febuary, but curious how big i should be come may. so with being around 16 weeks (3-4 months or so) pregnant, is there anyone out there who can tell me how big i will become because i do have my wedding dress allready, but i want to make sure it will still fit me come the wedding and i dont want to be massively showing come the wedding either. If anyone has any tips please let me know soon! Thanks you for your help!

If you want to make sure that your dress fits and you are not showing, I would plan on not being more than 10 weeks pregnant at your wedding. I have known plenty of people who have shown by 12-13 weeks, and by that time, waistbands are starting to get too tight, and you at least feel like you are bloated. If you want to feel skinny and beautiful on your wedding day, you want to be less than 10 weeks pregnant. By the way, don't forget about morning sickness and fatigue! Those are very common in the first trimester and into the beginning of the second, and could affect how much you enjoy your wedding day. Not to mention that it will not be safe for your baby for you to drink if you are pregnant, so if sipping champagne is part of your wedding plans, that is also something to consider. I am not trying to be a party pooper, I just want to make sure your wedding day is all you want it to be!

This is my first pregnancy, I'm 4 months pregnant and I am a lot bigger than I was before I was pregnant. I am 5'3 and normally 115 pounds. I gained about 10 pounds in the first trimester and started to show around 9 weeks. I couldn't fit into my regular clothes by 10 weeks and have been in maternity clothes since.

I'm not sure why I gained a lot of weight. The pregnancy turned me off of soda and sweets. I have been eating healthy since the beginning, I crave orange juice, milk, apples, and steak. :)

If the dress was designed well enough, you wouldn't be able to tell I was pregnant though. Tighter clothes make my belly look bigger, while if I wear a TShirt, you can just see that I have a little bump.

It all depends on the person and your body type. A lot of my friends didn't even start to show until they were 5 or 6 months pregnant.

Congratulations on the wedding and I hope everything else goes well.

Well I'm 16 weeks now and I feel great. I was lucky and had no morning sickness and few food cravings, nothing really strange just love frito lay chips and different types of cheese. My baby bump, well let's just say I was showing at 8 weeks and now it looks like I have one of those kids bounce balls that you get at Walmart for $2. You can tell that I'm pregnant but I am smart, I love to wear Gap body work out clothes because they are SOO comfortable. My boobie are big that I can not even find a tank top that holds them In safely. I think I have only gained maybe 5 or 6 pounds the hole time and that is because I eat a lot of meats, veggies, fruits and drink lots of water, juice and milk. With a few treats here and there. I also take my 2 year old and pit bull out for walks just about every day as long it's not to cold or raining. Well good luck to you and lots of baby dust. Just remember every one is different.

I am 6 months pregnant right now and huge. When I was 4 months pregnant you could tell. But it depends on your body type and things like that. I knew a girl who had a baby and no one even knew she was pregnant. When you know you are pregnant it is like all your muscles in your stomach just go and it starts to stick out, it could be a mental thing. I wanted people to know I was pregnant and not just getting fat!! But like I said it just depends on your body type. I think you would be safe with no one knowing if you were just hitting 3 months but you are pushing it if you go any further than 3 1/2 months because you are really taking a risk of not fitting in to that wedding dress. Your body changes so much so fast and even you feel like you are not getting big, when you put that dress on it could feel like you have gained 80 lbs. But do what you think it best for you. Who cares what anyone thinks just go for it, if that is what you really want. But think it out. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you : )

You could be HUGE or not showing at all, if you want to wear your dress, plan to concieve a month or 2 at the most prior to your wedding. I personally did not show until 6to 7 months with both pregnancies (i weigh 101)

It depends on a bunch of factors. What size you are pre pregnancy, how much weight you gain or lose in the 1st 16 weeks, genetics, body shape (frame), how fit you are ... There's no way to know for sure. Good luck.

You could be either huge or tiny, depepnding on your body shape and size, and genetics. Since it'll be your first, your likelihood of not showing much at first is high, but I would not count on that since you already have the dress you want. And since you only get married once, you would do well to simply wait. What's the rush anyway? :)
