I need to pay people for completing online research. I would give them a check like most researchers do, but I think people would prefer to receive their money faster (and easier) than that. Someone suggested an amazon.com gift certificate, and I might go with that... but I wish there was a way to give the equivalent of cash - like an american express gift certificate (already checked on this but they charge too much for processing & it's a physical card you have to mail). This is sort of tough because some people will only get $5 and some things have $10 minimums.... Any ideas??? Thank you!

I will be paying hundreds of research participants $5- $25 each.... so, maybe that will help.

If you have access to internet banking and they give your their bank details you should be able to directly deposit money straight from your account to theirs.

Should show up for them in minutes (or a few hours at worst).

do you not want to do paypal because it will cost to accept? google checkout might be something to consider. i know they are having free processing (as a promo) until the end of 2006. but, if it's an ongoing business, it might not be a good option.

or, maybe you could give a few options. picking a few places to give gift certificates to. and maybe still leaving the option of sending them a check.

with all of that said, are you hiring people to do online research? always looking for legitimate ways to earn $$

People prefer cash to gift certificates.

PayPal is so easy to use. You just have to have your PayPal account connected to a bank account that can transfer funds into your PayPal account. Email the PayPal help desk and they will help you get it set up.

PayPal also tracks every transaction so that you have a record of who was paid, how much, and when.

You can pay by check. The check numbers are copied by the payee and deposited in his bank. You will have to give the bank routing number and the check number. You cannot use that same check again, of course.
