What would you do for a Billion Dollars, that you wouldn't do for just a Million Dollars? (Now there's a question.)

I asked this same question in both the Sociology section and Psychology. In both sections some people answered an entirely different question. (No offense.) The operative word here is FOR. What would you do FOR a Billion dollars...not WITH a Billion dollars. The other main point is that a million is a lot but some people would still not (ethically) consider certain things even for a million. I wanted to see who would compromise thier morals and standards for 1000 times that amount. One Billion tax free is a HUGE sum. Surely most of you would do virtually anything for that much money. That's the point of the question. What would be willing to do for a Billion that you would NOT do for a million? (That is the exact question.)

This is a tough one. It's difficult to even imagine the difference between a billion (I assume one thousand million) and a million to my relatively impoverished self. Perhaps the only way to figure this out is what could I do with a billion that I could not do with a mere million.

I think that my answer would be to leave North America forever. With just a million, I could live well in some other part of the world, but I would still be constrained by limitations. (A million doesn't go as far as it used to.) However, with a billion dollars, I could do something like buy up Monaco or Lichtenstein and live in opulence! :-)

Edited answer:

After thinking about it for a bit more, I realise that I was focusing more on the results rather than the process, which is what the question is asking. To that end, I'll change my answer to nothing. The reason for this is that a million and a billion are such unimaginable numbers that they more or less blur in my mind, so it's next to impossible to separate the two. I cannot imagine surrendering a part of myself for a billion any more than I would for a million. I guess that the best analogy is one of trying to put a price on my soul, which I feel is totally inappropriate.

Hope that's what you're looking for.

I would not do anything more for a billion dollars than I would do for a million but I certainly would do "more" with the billion than with the million. However, anything I would choose to do for or with the money must be ethical and in good conscience, otherwise I'm not interested.

Nothing. If I have a million, I can turn it into a billion.
