okay.. so i'm an asian with dark brown hair.. pale skin and brown eyes.. i didn't want brown, hazel, and blue contacts because i've seen too many asians wear these colors.. i want something different.. so my eye doctor recommended turquoise.. however i have my doubts whether it'll look good on me.. i originally wanted green contacts but he said because my eyes are dark brown it's not going to show.. what do you think? what colors beside hazel, honey, and blue would look good on asians?

I use to work for an eye doctor and we always let people try on the different colors before they bought them. I agree with the lady that suggested the gray. I thought the gray ones really looked good on some people. See if you can try one on. I remember and Asian girl trying on the honey ones once and I didn't like it on her but she did so she got them anyway. . I think the chestnut brown looked better but with your skin tone I would try on some of the brighter colors to make your eyes really pop (and the gray for an exotic look).

I'm not Asian but I do wear color contacts and love them. The 'normal' blue anyone can have. I wear sapphire blue. They are very, very blue. The other color I'd recommend is olive green. This might look great with your skin tones. An artificial color - but still very attractive is violet. Its really pretty. Color contacts are the next best thing to real - when your born with 'brown' eyes - as we were. Have fun!

I personally hate colored contacts on people who obviously have brown eyes. I know a Mexican girl who has dark hair, dark skin, and these gorgeous dark brown eyes and wears blue contacts and they look so fake, it's not attractive at all.
You can tell when someone is wearing colored contacts -- the colors don't blend together and they look too saturated. To prevent this, stick somewhat close to brown. I would go for either a dark green or dark hazel if you're going to buy them at all. I know that's not really what you wanted to hear, but try it. See if you can try a pair on at your Optometrist's.
I don't think you should stray too far from your natural coloring -- that's what will always look the best.

blue If you have a tan, then I think blue eyes, black hair and a tan is the hottest thing ever Second best is hazel ish they are actually surprisingly subtle my asian friend wore them and it took her like 15 minutes of batting her eyes for me to notice but it brightens them up Third is grey its really easy to pull off although not very original but it still looks great And you could try purple also, I always thought it looked gross on asians but my friend got a pir and it looked AMAZING honestly, i don't know but she pulled it offff Just go to the store and ask for a few demos and you'll see what looks best on you. I think green would look really good on you...surely there has to be different shades of green! I would go to some website for colored contacts and look at different colors! I like www.coastalcontacts.com because you can order contacts and the ship them to you and once you get them you can try them out first then..pay for them!

What about gray?
I think any color will look good. But I mean you'll look crazy if you have purple/red/yellow eyes (and it probably won't match well with your clothes).
So I'd say to be realistic and pick something down to earth.

that honey color like on the James Bond movie with Famke Jensen and Pierce Bronson GOLDEN EYE that loks good will definitely hid the dark brown iris colr of your natural eye
