Nothing will happen. You can take a bath now, you can take a bath when you are in labor. We even deliver babies in water! Just keep the temperature no higher than 100 degrees.

You will feel great!!! Enjoy it. As long as the water is not hotter than you own body temp and you don't sit in it for hours. enjoy!! I had a hot tub at home for my last two pregnancies and everything was fine. We kept the temp at 100 and I was only in it for 10-15 minutes a time. I usually was only in it a few times a week. You should definitely enjoy some warm soaking. This relaxation might even help jump start labor. Many women deliver in warm baths so saoking in one prewater breaking is just fine. If you are really concerned ask your dr.

It might make your aching body feel better. It might relax you. And if you bathe in a tub deep enough to float a bit, the water pressure can help to reduce swelling in your legs and hands.

If you're wondering what will happen to your baby, the answer is nothing. A warm bath will not hurt. (I assume you're not talking about hanging out in a hot tub, or taking a very hot, very long bath.)

As long as it is not too hot and your water has not broken, not much will happen other than it making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Some say that relaxing can bring on labor. That close to your due date, any of those wives tales could be attributed as much to coincidence as anything else. Anyway, it won't hurt anything and will probably help to relax some of your aches and pains, so go for it!

They say it can thin the cervix and start labor but not sure if this true. If your trying to induce labor give it a shot if not stick with a shower.
