I hate that I think I know this pretty well, but here goes. I think it was probably the early 80's when they had a jingle "Making tracks in Traxx (at K-Mart) . . . " Then there was that Blue Light Special thing that they used to advertise, and it was about when you were in the store, a flashing blue light would come on over a particular item. It would be something like "Charmin toilet paper buy 1 get 2 free . . ." or "50 % off our finest costume jewelry . . ." the special would only last for maybe 5 minutes, and then you were just sadly out of luck. Those were the days. If you know of anybody who owns a pair of Traxx tennis shoes, ladies size 8, I could once again make tracks in Traxx like I did as a youngster in cheap, yet quality tennis shoes.
