What is a more intelligent way to say weird or strange? My friends are really... weird and I always tell them this. I get tired of alternating between weird and strange and odd, so I need more ways to say weird. In fact, it doesn't even have to be an intelligent alternative, just different.
Thanks!!! :)

Just want to say, I don't mean weird as in "kool or amazing or awesome". I mean like "STRANGE..." Ya know, like my friend will burst out laughing manyically then stop as suddenly as she started and I will look at her with a look of wonder and state "You are REALLY odd!" Then the both of us burst out laughing at her strangness...

Given the context, I'd have to go with "bizarre". It doesn't really have any really good or bad connotations, so there's no value judgment implied, so you can get away with describing a friend this way.
If they are strange in the sense that they come up with comments or actions that you never see coming, or are very difficult to read as to what they're thinking, you can try "enigmatic" too (especially if they're not very talkative).
(But #1 choice is still BIZARRE).

"that's an exceptional way of looking at things"
"you are obviously more intelligent than you portray"
"you are very creative, I must say"
"wow - how did you determine how to do that so well?"
"fascinating!"
"I love the way your mind works!"
"that's just so amazing!"
"woa - that's so interesting!"
