If you walk around with Dora the Explorer backpacks or say you think Spongebob is cool (or any of those modern shows pertained to really young kids), well, that's considered "cool" (at least at my school). But if you say you like pre-teen shows like Phil of The Future or That's So Raven, you'd get laughed at? This pertains to 15-18 year olds

I am absolutely not a Phil fan, thxvrymch. I don't like cartoons at all. Well...I can't deny my weakness for Catscratch.

Because there cartoons, who doesn't like a good cartoon. shows like Phil and Raven aren't the same, there boring and trysto hard to relate to "a teen's real life".
And don't come in cute Accessories and clothes..LOL

i'm a teenager and that i do not watch any of those exhibits. I purely watch VH1, Comedy major, and some MTV. And by how, why might want to a BOY something watch Hannah Montana, Zoey a hundred and one, or Dora? Spongebob is comprehensible yet, its kinda creepy once you're a teenager and also you really watch it. P.S. Hannah Montana must be between the worst exhibits ever made. And it stereotypes people to boot.

All teens are like this. When I was in high school all the girls had a crush on Steve from Blues Clues! (Not me!) But they didn't watch shows for teens. However, Hannah Montana, Phil of the Future, That's so Raven and all the "teen" shows aren't really for teens anymore... They are for 8 and 9 year olds that think they are "grown up" and mature.... I honestly didn't know any teens that watched the "teen" shows on Nick or Disney when I was that age. They all started to turn into brainless, baby-ish shows to get young kids into "teenage" stuff like hair and make up and to get them to beg their parents to buy them all the accesories...\
PS. Spongebob is a really boring show... Just my opinion though! I actually think that one is really stupid. Ren and Stimpy was the best cartoon show Nick ever aired for "older" kids!!

My bro wanna give an answer to this. He says we watch stuff like " Spongebob or Dora the Explorer " because we need something to laugh at! I mean come on, its hilarious when Dora starts asking you to say "swiper no swiping..come on say it with me!" Its dumb and we all know it.
Unlike proper teenage shows which we can actual relate to, Spongebob and Dora the Explorer brings out the kids in us! And humor is something we all enjoy (so long as its not at out expense! HAH!)

i dunno..people are stupid. I HATE SB!!! im sry but its so retarded that its not even funny..but i also have a personal reason for hating it..so maybe thats why i hate it so much. but even if i didnt have that reason i can almost guarantee i still wouldnt like it.
youd be surprised there is a whole group of us Phil fans like 200 people at least. but they keep their love for it quiet most of the time for some reason. i dont really like Thats So Raven, its gotten tiresome but its definitely better than SB *blech* excuse me while i throw up.
Phil is freakin cool! dude those people have bad taste. and it is mature cuz of the romance between Phil and Keely. i think alot of people dont like POTF cuz they get tired of seeing the same 40some eppys..the other shows have had more. POTF just needs a new plot.
come on people! whats wrong w/you! my mom even watches it even when i wasnt. and her bf likes it too, course he thinks Aly is hot..but he seems to enjoy the plot too. anyway what do you care what people think? weve all cared at one point but what matters is what you like.

SpongeBob came out when I was in my 20s and I still love it ... Oh, I mean, I watch it with my son. Yeah. That's it. Just don't look at my screen name. :)
And I always thought Steve's "little brother" Joe was the cuter Blue's Clues guy.

me and my friends grew up watching spongebob and fairly oddparents and we still think its funny. most of the new shows just arent good, plus spongebob always does funny stuff
