but i don't wanna lose the muscles i have now whats a good way to lose weight for me? I'm 16 years old 5'9 230ish pounds my stomachs not that big its about an inch from my body and i feel some abs under them they're hard i can feel em and thas a good thing how do i lose weight without losing any muscle? i wanna lose weight until my stomach (belly) is gone

First of all try to eat about 6 times a day to keep your metabolism going and drink plenty of water, watch your carb intake and walking for at least 30 minutes everyday will get you on your way to adding exercises that tone your body.

One method that works for me is bicycling. Along with this, watch what you eat. Eating healthier, and not increasing calories while you increase exercise helps.

Bicycling is great because it is a low impact method of getting exercise. Running and such can damage your knees. Try taking a bicycle when you have just a couple of miles to go. If you can start doing this daily, you'll probably see some results soon.

I can tell that you hate running...16 Y/O 230 pounds...but "wanna" lose weight...
I hate to be the one...but you have to run to lose any weight....

There are certain exercises which will be helpful to reduce the stomach. You can perform it in the morning or evening.

1. Lay down on the floor on your back. keep your body relaxed. fold your legs in the knee and close with each other with 2-3 cm gap. Your feet should be firm (either someone should help you in resisting them from the movement or give some pressure on the knees so that you will not loose the position). fold your arms. Take a deep breath and try to lift your body against your knees slowly. wait for 2-3 seconds and slowly go back with slow release of your breath. Keep in mind that you should not take support of your arms in lifting your body or getting back. You will feel some stretch on your stomach. Initially you should do it at least 10-15 nos in one set and min 3 sets. Once u r comfortable, u can increase sets and one set of 20-25 nos. After finishing relax your body for few minutes.

2. Lay down on the floor on your back. Fold your arms behind your head. Keep your kegs stretched and close. Take deep breath. lift your head and legs at a time so that you will feel stretch in stomach. Be in this position at least for 1 minute. Then slowly bring down ur legs and head at a time with slow pace of breathing out. Do it again. More control on breath in and out. No support of arms to lift the head or any upper portion of body. increase the numbers and sets slowly.

3. Lay dowm on the floor on your stomach. Legs and arms stretched. face towards ground. Take your arms back and fold your legs in knees. Try to hold first finger of your feet with your hands. Feel little stretch. breath in deep. raise your chin upside and try to pull your legs with your hands so that there will be full stretch on your stomach. Maintain the position for min 2 minutes. then slowly relax the body and breath out slowly. Repeat.
