SP - thanks for answering! I'm trying to find people who have a Bangladeshi American background because I am writing a fiction novel. My main character is a teenage girl with a Bangladeshi father and an American mother. I'm interested in trying to find people who are similar to this character so I can write more realistically.

I am Iranian and white, and my sister is married to a guy from Bangladesh. Did you mean American born Bangladeshi's or just people from Bangladesh who live in America?

I know a girl that was studying to get her Doctorate degree at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. Her dad was an ambassador to England, I believe she was also a US citizen
