I have had constant vaginal discharge for the past 2 years. I have been to my gynocologist and I keep getting a diagnosis of yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. I can't be sexual because I haven't had sex since Feburary..it still hasn't cleared up with medication. I even went for a sonogram to check my liver to see if maybe it was something with the kidneys..Nothing. Recently it has started to itch and become red. I am tired of alway have to insert medication into me every night and wearing a panty liner. Does anyone have any clue..btw discharge ranges from white and thick to stringy light brown to light blood discharge.. and all of my STD test have came back negative

I do clean myself..I know to go front to back. I've changed soaps..stop using bubble bath...I meant to say I had a sonogram to check my kidneys..liver just popped in my head...I don't use Monistat I have used 3 types of cream with different levels of alchol content and 2 different pills. All the doctors' say that it is just constant yeast infection!!

what are you using? monistat? if so and its not working, you have a different kind of yeast infection. ask for the pill that gets rid of yeast infections, i can't remember the name, but they will know what you are talking about. it works like a charm. monistat doesn't work on all types of yeast infections. on the rare occassion that i get one the pill is the only thing that will work for it, because I don't get the common one. If that doesn't work try using a different soap down there. you might be sensitive to the kind of soap that you use, try summers eve intimate cleanser, it is very gentle and made for that area.

1. Have you been tested for diabetes?

2. Are you on the Pill?

3. Do you eat a lot of sugar? (This includes bread products and alcohol--especially beer and wine.)

4. Do you use any latex products in that area?

5. Are your ovaries normal?

That's all I can think of that could be a factor.

Yeast and bacterial vaginosis are two different conditions treated by two different medications. I think that you might want to find a new gyno, if the one you have hasn't found the answer by now.

Sounds very uncomfortable and annoying. But if your doc says yeast infection then it probably is, thats what it sounds like to me. Has your Dr. given you an antibiotic for it instead of just those over the counter insertion of cream medicines? If not you should look into getting the antibiotic diflucan, its a pill that will clear up yeast and vaginal infections fast!

why did they do a "sonogram" of the liver to check your kidneys? I think that you need to see another doctor. I hope that you have not been inserting that medication for 2 years. Get a second opinion!!

the main extreme component in this occasion is to be sure you have no longer gotten smaller a sexually transmitted an infection. Discharge after sexual touch isn't regularly occurring. verify you notice your wellbeing practitioner and get examined for the main worry-unfastened vaginal infections (vaginitis) which incorporate sexually transmitted ones. Assuming all of those exams are regularly occurring, the subsequent step is to study the varieties of condoms/lubricants/gels/gadgets and so on. used for the duration of your sexual intercourse as those could make a contribution to the priority. finally, confirm your sexual companion gets examined as nicely.
