OK, someone asked this once before, but the answers were kind of biased. I want your opinion, your dictation on the video, not necessarily what the standard "Natalie comment about Bush," meant. What do you think the video symbolizes? Please, do not bash the artists, they are artists, not your children/friends/family. WHAT DOES THE VIDEO MEAN TO YOU? Not what it really "might" symbolize...

I think they are symbolizing any time you stand up for what you believe in and people disagree with you. They're not ready to make nice - they're not ready to forgive and forget. They say that forgiving sounds nice but they don't think the can forget. And then they illustrate why - why would someone tell them to shut up and sing or else??? That's in the lyrics of the song. They're not ready to suck it up and go on. They feel hurt, and they're going to keep on feeling hurt.

What they said was true and it still is and what happened to them after the Bush comment was not right and they paid the price for it. But, they are still adamant about what they think and belief and nothing has changed since then. They know they are right and they are proud of it. Its just going to make them stronger not weaker. They are the winner and those people who criticized them are the losers.
