i have recieved many good ideas. thanks. i had the cooling system pressure tested and that showed no problems so would the heater core still be bad?? someone suggested the cab has a leak and untill it dries out the problem will exist, any ideas where it could be leaking from?? i have had this problem every winter fro the last 3 to 4 years. i thought maybe the heater was not pulling fresh air and was using recirculated air but i don't have a crontrol for that.

You may have a leaking heater core. The coolant evaporates on the window and causes the window to fog up.
Take a white paper towel and wipe the window inside. If its discolored your heater core needs replacing

Couple of thoughts.

1) Try blowing regular air, not hot air. As I recall, condensation forms on the warm side of the windows.

2) Haven't tried this, but you might try getting a bucket of damp-rid (calcium chloride, a hydrophilic salt) and sticking it in the back seat while you drive with the windows closed. I am not sure how quickly this works, though, or if it works at all.

i own a repair shop, and if it has gotten wet in the truck it will do this until it dries out,or if it has a bad heater core in it this can cause it to do that also, but i got mine wet from a window that was left down.and it did this for 2 weeks until it dried out real good, that maybe whats wrong with yours, and if its leaking somewhere in the truck that you don't know about, that will cause it,and it wont ever stop doing it until you find the leak ,and dry it out real good,,good luck,i hope this help,s.
