If you both agree that there are no more feelings then why not divorce. Unless you have children and it benefits you to stay married and just go separate ways. It is what ever makes the both of you happy. Remember you need not please anyone but yourselves. Good luck. LL.

I doubt that's going to help anything. It's not uncommon in a marriage to hit a stumbling block around seven to eight years of marriage. It may feel like the passion is gone but it may just be in remission. Why don't you try getting away from home, work and kids, just the two of you and do something together like you did when you first got together. If you still feel no passion for each other, you may need to split. Open marriage rarely works for both parties. Someone is gonna get jealous, resentful and it just isn't worth the grief.

People change partners these days faster than a door swings at a shopping mall during Christmas. How about you find ways to interact with one another. Get new activities going, have fun, travel, start a new hobby together, take classes. If you guys are bored, it's your own faults. Get going and do something about it. Otherwise, you'll get married to the next one and maybe then you'll be "bored" in 3 yrs - then what?

well if you're thinking about having an open marriage why not just go all the way and get a divorce and if you have kids I don't think an open marriage is acceptable

You did not say if there are children involved. If there are your best bet is to stay together but see other people discreetly. If there are not any children involved then what you and your husband decide is best,by all means do it. Whether it is to see other people or get divorced, the decision belongs to the two of you.

That would be the worst thing to do. If you are not in love anymore you should consider ending it then moving on. But open marrages can cause many problems.

See whether a counsellor can help. If not move on. Opting for open marriage is inviting more trouble.

if you still want to stay together for other reasons or for money and breaking up would be to costly and you both agree on this . then yeah . make sure you both can handle it. and be discrete and respectful to the other one and not flaunt it in there face. and you should be okay if thats the way you want to go.

If your marriage has degraded to the this point, maybe the question that you should both ask is should you stay married. Time to discuss this issue with your husband.
