i understand completetly, my husband works out of town for 2 weeks at a time, I am left with just children to talk too. he doesnt understand why when i call him i am so upset. all he talks about is his job or tv. well, i decieded to go back to college take some courses and be involved in my community. he loves the idea, i dont stress him out with the kids and i am not bored anymore, by the way i also work parttime and i have 4 kids still at home. Im not lonely anymore.

U don't say how old u are? Yes it matters... because there are certain points in life couples go through difficult times and one or both will stray... I write this cause YOU MADE a POINT " No affairs involved!" But u can do all those things with your mate... make it a date night... something more is going on.
If it's just lonliness, gosh going with co workers, getting together with your best female pals and have dinner and activities together. Girls night out so to speak on a regular basics.
Something tells me you lacking intimacy with your hubby. Marriage is work and it's easy to get distracted. Stay away from chat rooms unless u can take fantasy affairs on line.
Take time for you, pamper yourself to relaxing bath and good book. Nicolas Sparks writes alot of love stories... try his first one "The Notebook". It will definately lose the I'm lonely. Try to be analytical and see what is the trigger. Good luck.

So your saying your happy in your marriage everything is good every where else but he's a bit of a loaner then and keeps to himself.
Why not join a lady's bridge game or card night for ladies. I say ladies so you won't get involved or get asked out by a male . as you said no affairs.
Also join a all lady's gym class or yoga etc.. you will meet women there and can make time to meet up for coffee or a movie and from there your off and running.

And you guys don't do things together???? Movies, camping, symphony, jazz sessions, hit art galleries, antique shopping, weekends away, photography, having guest over for dinner, meeting friends for dinner..... god, lady, I could write from now to midnignt, and it's only 9:30 here....

get some girlfriends, girlfriend! i guarantee he'll be paying more attn to you if you keep yourself busy too.

ask him to give u those things that u desire.............if there's no one else ur interested in...............try and get what u want from him. communicate............
