I had that problem. We tried for 6months with no success. When we quit trying, we got pregnant immediately. I found out later that stress can make you a hostile environment for sperm. You could actually be killing them off before they get a chance to connect.

Try to have fun. Children are a blessing and they come to those who wait and have a whole lotta fun!

Good luck!

I was just talking to this new friend (our babies are close in age) and I found out him and his wife took 7 years and over $10,000 to conceive.

But here is the kicker, they didn't need any of that. After 7 years they went to a new fertility clinic and they give all their new clients an antibiotic for a kind of macrophage that can impair fertility. They got pregnant the next month. I wish I had more info but you should seek treatment. And if you go to one doctor and they don't seem to have an answer go somewhere else.

if you have not conceived after 1 1/2 year of trying you should see a fertility specialist. it could be a minor problem.
heres a story. a friend couldnt conceive after 4 years of trying. only then she thought of going to a good fertility specialist who immediately detected a small problem. she gave her some Rx for 10 day and she conceived in the next cycle.
hoping you have a minor problem and you will conceive a healthy and happy baby in the coming few months.

I would suggest making an appointment with a gynecologist. They can do testing to see if you have any obvious reasons for not getting pregnant. Sometimes if you have sex to often it can decrease the sperm count. Seriously though the only way you are going to know if there are any problems causing you to not get pregnant is to go to a doctor.

seek out a specialist, if it takes you longer than 1 year to concieve you usually need some help & tests to make sure you both are cpable of concieving. Best of Luck

I know it's tough. I think you should forget about charting,BBT,and all the other crazy stuff. It is stressful for you and it is not helping. You need to relax.
Take it easy and it will happen!

Try the doctors. My sister and my sis in law both have reasons they have not had children yet. The doctors can help.

Talk to your dr. The dr.'s can help out a lot finding out why you are not conceiving and give you suggestions for solutions including hormone therapy, invitro...there are a lot of options...but talk to the dr. first before you panic!!

Sorry that this is happening to you... try different positions with deeper penetration to ensure that the sperm is making it to your cervix... If your man isn't well endowed that could be one of the problems... Try having sex twice a day on your fertile days- that should increase your odds... Good luck!!!
