Proof: there's a girl born on the same day I was born on only 4 years later. We are nothing alike, and continue to be nothing alike.

some is, its never going to be exact but you can find a REAL astrologist or psychic that does actual birth charts instead of the fake ones that do horoscopes or fortune cookies, those predictions almost never come true, watch Sylvia on Montel on Wednesdays, shes a pretty believable psychic
dont listen to the first girl that commented, true astrology is based on month, year, day and time(sometimes even place) so of course she doesnt have anything in common with the girl, theyre 4 years apart! also, if your Christian, think about it, God created the world, maybe we're SUPPOSED to look at the sky for answers, He put it there for a reason and that reason may be astrology...

Astrology is no guarantee, but rather a guideline with a lot of gray in the mix. There is yet to be anyone who can accurately predict the future, whether based on the movement of the planets or whatever. If there were, they would win the state lottery week after week or play the stock market and make millions overnight. I can predict the future for you in one respect, if you do not make the effort and study, then you are MUCH more likely to fail and if you DO fail, then the fault will lie squarely on your shoulders, not in the stars...

No, astrology really is supposed to be just for fun. Besides, Everyone is different and don't fit the mold astrology has set. Astrology doesn't influence your luck, relationships, or life. Take it with a grain of salt, remember we make our own destinies.

it is also a subject just like science which is a systematic body of knowledge. interpretition is most important in this subject. analysis of planatery position and based on the birth time, place of birth prediction cabn be done. but in normal practice no body willtell the exact birth time. hence predictions goes wrong. we have to take into consideration to that extent if whether condition indicates rain we will take the umbrella. similarly it is only precaution but no one can tell the future since it is not the work of human being. it is a belief thats all.

astrology is a science and science is always true. it also depends on your beliefs. if you approach a traditional astrologer who is not very commercial and give them your details they can tell you something about your past and future . how do they do that ? they have studied the science of astrology. if you study it you can tell others future.

If you take account millions of different possibilities a birth chart can come up, it's close.
But when it comes to forecast accuracy, I think it's not good enough.
