I prefer the pant style saree...sorry, I don't know the proper name for it.

there are no sizes in Indian sarees. You get lenghts. I don't know what you think a saree is made from, but it's a length of silk about 8 to 10 feet long. You wear it to suit your need. It's not ready made so you have to fold the pleats and get the right length so it doesn't fall on the floor after you throw it over your shoulder. (you'll know what I mean when you star wearing one.) You get the saree jacket separatly....and for that you need your measurements.
I think what you are refering to is a Shalwa or a Cholee. Those have pants. Sarees don't. There of course, you should go for the same size as your dress. But fitting on is adviced.

I don't think Indians have any size on their sarees. They are usually big and folded according to necessity. But I don't know a lot about the neo-indian sarees.

Sarees have no size, only length. You'll be fine with the standard length.

For the "pants," you mean you want shalwar kameez. They have readymade ones (which show the bust size), or you can purchase fabric and take it to a seamstress, who will stitch it to your measurements for low cost.

sarees are free size. blouse has size.
