3]communication-always let the other know whats goin on. if u r upset tell them,if they r upset listen when they tell u.tell them u love them daily.
4]respect-their wants,needs,and desires
5]make love- its not about "sex"although it seems like its the same thing.when u make love u r connecting.
6]in-laws must love ya.hahaha

Lots of things go into it...love, true love that is, understanding, trust...I have found though, that communication is VITAL. One of the most vital things to make it work. COMMUNICATION. Communicate to eachother EVERYTHING and try to always put things in terms of yourself. How what your partner may have done to hurt you made you feel, as opposed to just b*tching at them about what they did and how wrong it was.
